Cory eyed the horse with venom as he trotted over to relieved her of the heavy burden that was making her escape to slow. She grimaced as her face was showered with a lovely layer of beast snot. She whipped it off and flung it back at Remwick, giving him a taste of his own medicine. It’s official. She hates horses. Whether it is a full horse of half of one, she decided that it would only be a matter of time before she comes to dislike it. Standing up to her full height, Cory bruised the layer of dirt off of her clothes and touched the tender spot on her back. She winced as she took note that it was already an unhealthy purple.
"Have fun on your many adventures. Because you certainly won't want to travel with an idiot and donkey."
Cory took that as her cue to leave. Exit stage right, if you please. With a small salute, she tuned on her heel and began to march off. But, as the further she went, she slower her steps became. Even though she wished so hard to walk into the horizon, her conscious held her back. True, she may not have come from noble blood, but she had been raised right. Her mother was a strong woman and her farther sturdy in his beliefs. Thus, Cory had learned form a very young age that kind gestures must be returned- regardless if it’s to your benefit or not. It is such lesson that tugged onto Cory’s back and begged her to turn around. Only afew feet away from Mr. Robin and his cowardly donkey, Cory was at a standstill.
It wasn’t long until Cory yelled a cursed and kicked the ground…
“Damn my Zrak ways!” she cursed, pivoting on her heel with a fury and marching up to Felix. Jabbing a finger in his chest, she hissed between bared teeth:
“You better be able to keep up. We’re hitting the next city by sundown.”
