Vampires
Mortal
The Original Race
Vampires are most commonly known, for sucking blood, having no reflection and morphing into bats. To some extent this description is true. They still suck blood, but they don't need it to survive. Unlike the vampires you hear about in stories, theses ones can live around other creatures. Their need to drink blood arises more from an addiction than to a life-support. When vampires are young their mothers feed them blood, and what most people don't know is that for vampires, blood holds something that entrances them, and they become addicted. Vampires, also can morph, but not all choose bats. Some vampires choose other creatures of the night as their animal persona. Vampires come in many shapes and sizes, the species is predominately male for some reason. Most vampires are very tall and lean, standing at around 6"4 or taller. Vampires have an eerie beauty about them, most have long, thin gaunt faces with jutting cheek bones and sunken eyes. While the females, are slightly less exotic looking, with rather plain faces, but usually sporting wild, curly hair.
The Evolved-
The evolved series of vampires, are technically not vampires at all. They are humans or other creatures that have been bitten and a certain something in the vampires spit, mixes with their blood and changes them. Most vampire victims, will bleed to death, and those who don't become the Evolved Vampires. The evolved series, look completely different from the Originals, their look varies from one to another. It all depends on the creatures appearance before they were bitten. The Evolved series is a very mopey bunch, most are grieving for the loss of their regular life, and angry at being forced to be something they didn't want to be. Although one strange thing that was transferred through to the evolved, but shows no sign in the originals, is their super-human strength and lightning fast speed. The Evolved series can lift up to 1500 times their own body weight, and can clock up to 150km when sprinting fully.
