Daemons
Immortal
The Original Race (Daemons)-
Daemons, the product of a fall from grace. These beings were originally celestial in alignment. However some act in their past, anything from stealing to murder, caused them to be cast from the divine ranks. Some find shame in what they have become, while others revel in their new found freedom. Despite common belief, not all daemons are as evil as they are made out to be. Some still believe in the ways of the light and do as they have been taught in the hope that one day they will be forgiven. They are predominantly male, there are quite a few that are sexist to the point of rape, which could be the cause of their little push from the clouds. Daemons have angelic beauty, a lasting reminder of what they used to be. In a world where people judge by looks a lone this can be a cunning device to be used by a more sinister daemon. Dark patterns, not unlike tattoos flourish on their backs, in some resemblance of the wings they once possessed. Sometimes their eye colour is changed, often to black, red, or violet.
The Evolved (Demons)-
Not only their name has changed when it come to demons. The product of breeding between daemons spawned the demons. They are a malevolent race, bent on causing destruction, suffering and pain. They care for little, and appear to only have two emotions, rage and sorrow. Their minds are twisted from the mental pain they feel, the cause which is unknown to them. It is the their severed link to the light which bends them into something unrecognizable. There are more females in this group, after all the laws of nature still apply to celestials, fallen or otherwise. They do not posses the striking beauty of their predecessors. They are more beefy and over all unattractive. Their features are more pronounced removing any look of soft lines. They average around the same height as humans, though their bone structure is several sizes heavier, removing any trace of grace they might have inherited from their parents.
